With literally thousands of types of fabrics on the market, it can be very overwhelming when shopping for your outdoor furniture. We try to make it simple for you.

• Sling is a mesh material used for the type of furniture that has the fabric inserted to sling rail. Sling material may also be made into cushions and pads. Some top name brands of sling material are Twitchell, Phifertex and Sunbrella.
• Cloth material is used in cushions and throw pillows. Well-known brands include Sunbrella, Outdura and Sunbury. The key word here is 100% Solution Dyed Acrylic. We do not recommend printed polyesters, as they fade more quickly and are not bleach cleanable. Remember, you are purchasing material for outdoor use, a much tougher environment.
